Security Officer Driver

As a Security Officer Driver in Mira Loma, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access points, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming, secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, agile team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial vehicles at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, issue access badges as directed, and communicate access-related information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
