Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Emporia, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment at a food manufacturing location. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $19.24 / Hour

Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, observations, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
